Kedi Mobile Applications is a deep-tech health AI startup founded by two sisters — Dr. Tuğba Önal-Süzek, an AI researcher and computer engineer with 28+ years of experience in bioinformatics and healthcare systems, and Dr. Banu Kılıç, an orthodontist with over 20 years of clinical practice.
We operate at the intersection of healthcare and medical aesthetics, where early clinical screening, facial development, and appearance-related outcomes overlap — a space still underserved by traditional diagnostics.
We started from a simple insight: a single side-profile photo already contains measurable signals about craniofacial development, but current healthcare systems don’t use this information early enough. We built Orthodontist to change that, turning a photo into instant AI-based orthodontic pre-assessment.
We then expanded into BreathOrthoAI, an AI-powered, non-invasive screening system that detects early indicators of craniofacial and airway-related conditions in children using only facial imagery — without scans, radiation, or invasive procedures.
Our technology is already deployed globally and externally validated. BreathOrthoAI received the Seal of Excellence from the European Innovation Council (EIC) and we were selected for the EU Women TechEU programme, confirming strong technical and market readiness.
Today, Orthodontist is the world’s first mobile-only single-photo AI orthodontic pre-diagnosis platform, offering instant free AI screening and optional remote consultations with licensed orthodontists worldwide. The product is live across major app stores and used in ~110 countries.
As an academic spin-off from Bezmialem Vakif University and Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, we are building scalable AI infrastructure for early-stage clinical decision support in facial and airway health.
Our mission is simple:
make early facial and airway screening instant, non-invasive, and globally accessible using AI.
